Hi! My name is Juliann and I love to paint. In past lives, I’ve been a law school graduate, a classics PhD student, an art history teacher and a college counselor. But in 2019, when I started to follow painting tutorials by the Art Sherpa on YouTube, it felt like coming home. Since then, I have tabled at comic conventions, sold at outdoor art shows and even displayed my work at the Red Dot Art Fair as part of Miami Art Week. I currently love working in oil, acrylic and oil pastel, often combining the mediums. My subjects are always women, and typically I like to add fantasy elements, because reality on its own is pretty boring. On a normal day you’ll find me listening to horror audio books in my claustrophobic 9x9 art studio, covered in pastel and paint, working on my latest creation.
